About

Pink Wojak, also known as /biz/ Wojak, is a pink-tinted variation of the character Wojak often depicted with bleeding eyes used to represent those who invested heavily in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies that some believe will be facing an imminent crash in value.

Origin

On June 15th, 2017, a post about a crash related to the value of the cryptocurrency ether was submitted to /biz/ along with a warped Pink Wojak screaming (shown below).[3]

Spread

On June 22nd, a Pink Wojak thread was submitted to /biz/ featuring a manically laughing Wojak saying "good thing I didn't invest everything I had in ANTS." On June 23rd, 2017, a thread was submitted to /biz/ complaining that mods deleted a thread featuring the Pink Wojak meme.[2] On August 27th, a Pink Wojak thread was submitted to /x/ along with a picture of the character pointing a gun to his head while hanging himself (shown below).

On November 21st, 2017, a Pink Wojack thread was submitted to /biz/ featuring an image depicting several Pink Wojaks riding a rollercoaster next to graphs of bitcoin fluctuations (shown below).

In other words, all these people who invested in Bitcoin because of the record high news were asking for it. That's the tricky part to investing in stock, if you wait until something becomes big, it's too late.
