Today on Twitter, the official account of Spider-Man No Way Home posted a photo of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland re-enacting the classic Spider-Man Pointing At Spider-Man meme, and officially "did the thing."

The new live-action, real-life version of the meme, which is an image macro originally from a cartoon series, features the three actors (all of whom play Spider-Man in the new Marvel film) pointing at each other and smiling in their suits.

Twitter users have responded to the photo with enthusiasm, many writing in all caps (and in exclamation points) "THEY DID THE THING!" — subsequently sparking a trend on Twitter today. Others compared the live-action remake, which took place on the greenscreen set of the film, to the original.

However, another juicy story related to the Spider-Men has also dropped. Tom Holland, in a Monday night appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, revealed that one of the two men he’s pointing at in the meme re-enactment wore a “fake butt” during the shooting of the movie. Holland would not say which man, but Twitter was full of speculation, especially about the suspiciously ample derriere of Tobey Maguire.

Regardless of whether one of the Spider-Men is not packing quite as much in the trunk as he would like you to think, the three of them came together and gave the internet its dearest wish: they officially did the thing.
