Can validate the sentiment. You guys just do not help. You are so entangled in identity politics that you do not actually understand the problems and issues that Latin Americans face regarding politics. You people think it is all about "leftist this, conservatives that", and that is simply not how most of LA politics work. All political wings are equally as corrupt here, so that approach does not work.

The whole gist is closer to a "People VS Government" thing instead, as evidenced by Chile's protests recently, and just about every LA country is the same way, with maybe Brazil being sort of an exception recently. People simply do not have the time or will to have petty skirmishes with each other instead of uniting against the biggest common evil. And honestly..? I feel like Western and European countries should take notes about that.

I will say, however, that the one thing USA and LA share in common is the "capitalists VS communist" side. That is indeed very much a thing over here as well, and more or less received the same way as it is in the US, so, feel fre to have an opinion on that regard, since you already know most of it, probably.
