The USCPSC Twitter account, one of the few good meme-heavy government Twitter accounts (we're looking at you, New Jersey), finally laid to rest a long-standing debate on the internet when it declared that "Birds Are Real."

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission was weighing in on the sort of joke conspiracy theory in honor of National Bird Day, which was yesterday. What followed was an imagined conversation between two (obviously fake) birds first discussing how you can report unsafe products to SaferProducts.gov before entering into a harrowing conversation about potlucks.

Yet again, the USCPSC has found an incredibly, uh, creative way to get their public messaging out there. At least we can be reasonably confident the USCPSC won't tell their followers to eat ass, unlike a certain beer company, as the recommendation probably doesn't fall under the U.S. Consumer Product Safety guidelines.
