Social media has been thrown into confusion after discovering that the State Department website updated to say Donald Trump's Presidential term will end today at 7:49 P.M.
Hey, @StateDept, what do you know that the rest of us don't?

There has been no official word on Trump resigning or being removed from office before his term ends on January 20th, though there have been growing calls for his removal from Democrats and a few Republicans after the Storming of the Capitol last week. Democrats have urged Mike Pence to invoke the 25th amendment of the Constitution, which would require Pence and the Cabinet to vote that Trump is unfit for office. As that seems unlikely, Democrats have introduced an article of impeachment against the President for his role in inciting the riot.
According to Buzzfeed's Christopher Miller, sources have said the site's message comes from a "disgruntled staffer" in the government.
UPDATE: Sources tell @BuzzFeedNews a "disgruntled staffer" is behind the State Department site's change of Trump and Pence's biographies. More TK. https://t.co/5Gbb3cEhRK

While that report seems more likely and characteristic of Trump's chaotic administration than the President resigning or being removed by other legal means, it nevertheless inspired jokes and hope from those who want Trump removed.
Today was my first day at my new job at the state department working on web design and stuff. Really nervous, hope I didn’t screw anything up.
