Coronavirus quarantine may have finally reached the United States, but it's been a fact of life in much of Asia throughout the last few months. However, despite the life-threatening illness spreading throughout the globe, life still goes on.

Schools may be closed in Japan, causing the cancelation of graduation ceremonies, but that won't stop the students from celebrating. Turning to a safer venue for the milestone event, students in one school have decided to hold their ceremony on Minecraft, where we're pretty sure you cannot contract COVID-19 coronavirus.

In a now-viral tweet sent out last week, pictures of the ceremony show these blocky, pixelated students honoring the passage from one grade to the next in a truly modern fashion.

When translated, the tweet reads:

“‘What are you doing?’
‘We all decided to have a graduation ceremony together!’
Oh? Awesome. The elementary students gathered to start graduation themselves.”

Check out some pictures and footage below and experience your heart grow twice in size a la the Grinch.
