'Smiling Friends' Go To Brazil In New Trailer For Special Episode, Inspiring Memes And Hype

Adult Swim's smash success animated series Smiling Friends finally has new content coming out in the form of a special ninth episode for the first season, titled "The Smiling Friends Go to Brazil."

After the first eight episodes were all shown in one night to rush their push to HBO Max, fans were hungry for more content to come from the series. Luckily, they didn't have to wait long to smile again, as it was recently announced that on August 7th, the ninth episode would be released and then dropped on HBO Max the following day.

While the official description for the episode reads "the Smiling Friends finally get to relax in a beautiful Brazilian beach town; Pim works on his novel; Charlie binges a load of torrent shows on his portable hard drive; Allan and Glep enjoy some long-awaited chill out time at the beach," it's well known that nothing ever stays normal for the group and that some sort of utterly wacky exploit is bound to happen, causing glee and excitement to spread among the fanbase as reactions flooded social media.

This excitement was expressed in various forms of fan art showing the cast in different parts of Brazil, as well as predictions about what might happen. The theme of the episode is notably a play on the You're Going To Brazil meme, which wasn't lost among the fandom.
