nasal swab

Rolling Stone ruined many a poster's day on Monday when it posted an article about people who get off on nasal swabs used for coronavirus tests. The nasal cavity, Rolling Stone explains, is known to such folks as the "nussy."

If this sounds too stupid to be true, it is. Writer EJ Dickson grabbed a couple of dumb jokes where people use "nussy" in the same way "Bussy" or "Krussy" from the One Thicc Bih meme was used, but later clarifies that none of his sources experience sexual pleasure from the nasal swabs. Instead, they enjoy the tingly feeling of the swab in the same way one might enjoy having their sinuses cleared by spicy food or the bubbly tingle of a La Croix. The use of "nussy" was clearly a device to get horror clicks, and judging by the Twitter response, it worked beautifully.

Luckily, fears of the "nussy" were greatly exaggerated, as nobody sincerely calls their nostrils that, and no one, to our knowledge, is getting off from COVID swabs. But hey, different strokes for different folks.
