Roblox Logo With Characters

Roblox, the wildly successful online multiplayer game, has done some large changes to it's Terms of Service, which dictate the rules that players must follow in order to keep playing the game and not be banned. There were a staggering number of changes made, but even more staggering was the things that were now not allowed. Twitter users and Roblox content creators were quick to point out certain rules, such as not having anymore giveaways, or no hand-holding, kissing, or using of VPNs, were outlandish and silly.

Some players were quick to look at some of their favorite game modes, and ones that are currently on the frontpage of the Roblox portal, to see which ones wouldn't be able to survive once the new Terms of Service became strictly adhered to. This analysis of how much current and future content would be lost has also brought the players to creating memes and refusing the play the game anymore.

Among the new rules was a very ambiguously worded statement about Roblox creatives not being able to take commissions or being paid for creating Roblox avatars and items, which was a whole separate issue and discourse within the community.

How the fuck can they justify banning hand-holding? That is literally G rated.

Again: We need hard global standards forbidding such sweeping rule changes that blatantly go against community consensus. The communities of major online platforms, not the managements, are the supreme say regarding any potential restrictive policy changes, which are to happen only based on popular demand.
