Today, prominent Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade came back from a two-month hiatus to announce a cancer diagnosis and plans to rest further for health reasons. The announcement came via a YouTube video uploaded on his main channel earlier this afternoon.

Almost immediately after the news hit the internet, several prominent Minecraft YouTubers, some who could be considered his rivals and competitors, took to Twitter to wish him well.

During his video, Technoblade began making jokes about his cancer, as well as saying that COVID needs to be taken care of already, which was a rallying cry to his millions of fans, as well as a ray of hope to them that things can always be okay even if they seem bad.
