Joe Biden ignited controversy yesterday when he said "10-15% of Americans are not very good people."
Biden was speaking to black supporters in an online forum moderated by actor Don Cheadle. While discussing race relations in America in the wake of the George Floyd Protests, Biden called Donald Trump a divisive leader who brings out the worst in people. He also remarked that the vast majority of Americans are decent and want to make the country a better place, but added that "there are probably anywhere from 10 to 15% of the people out there that are just not very good people."
In case you are wondering why "10-15% of Americans" is trending, it's because Joe Biden told the truth and Republicans aren't used to it.
Here's the entire quote in context.
The only people who find this offensive are the 10-15% he's talking about.pic.twitter.com/fqgr4QYNfa— Holly Figueroa O'Reilly (@AynRandPaulRyan) June 5, 2020
For many, the remarks were reminiscent of Hillary Clinton saying that half of Trump's supporters were a "basket of deplorables" during the 2016 Presidential election. On Twitter, the remarks divided users between those who agreed with Biden's statement and those who criticized the message as divisive.
The only controversy about Biden saying 10-15% of Americans are bad people is he’s way too low in his estimate. The Trump base is at least 35%. Fuck every single one of them.

Biden says 10-15% of Americans “are not good people.”
This is a major difference between President Trump and Joe Biden.
When Trump looks at America, he sees opportunity and potential.
When Joe Biden looks at American, he only sees the bad.https://t.co/UtPZBfn0Yj— JT Lewis (@thejtlewis) June 5, 2020
Biden says that 10-15% of Americans are not “good people” (approximately 30-45 million). Will he ever learn?
