Grimes Releases Song Addressing An Ex As 'The Greatest Gamer'

On the same day Elon Musk dropped a new haircut, his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, Grimes, released a new song titled "Player of Games," which people are interpreting as a breakup song about him.

The key lyrics cementing the song's subject matter come in verse two and the pre-chorus. Verse two reads, "I'm in love with thе greatest gamer, but he'll always love the game more than he loves me." The pre-chorus reads, "Sail away to the cold expanse of space. Even love couldn't keep you in your place."

Musk is a noted fan of video games and is well known to want to go to space, making it easy to see how Grimes' latest song is about her ex-flame.

At the time of the pair's breakup, the official word was they were on good terms and continued co-parenting their child, X AE A-12. However, "Player of Games" at least alludes to some hurt feelings in the relationship's fallout, but the lyrics greatly amused Twitter, causing "Grimes" to trend today.
