This morning, the official Instagram account for Disneyland (the brand's California theme park) was hacked, with the perpetrator going on to post several edgy pictures and memes while saying his name was David Do.

According to his posts, he appeared to have a vendetta against someone named Jerome and shouted out the Twitter handle @chi11estpanda. Others quickly noticed the wild Instagram posts by Disneyland and began to discuss them on Twitter as the story spread online.

If the desired result was to make the Disney Adults mad, then it seems to have succeeded.

Throughout the day, there was a lot of anger directed at the hacker for what he was posting on the official page, as well as anger directed at Instagram and Disney for how fast they were able to get support to help lock down the account and restore it to the rightful owners, which some claimed was far faster than it takes the average person to get anything account-related handled.

There was also a bizarre conspiracy theory that popped up, which theorized that somehow Russia and Putin were responsible for the hack as part of some retaliation from Disney pulling out its services and merchandise from the country due to the war in Ukraine.

Not wanting the moment to go to waste, a few people started asking whoever hacked the account if they were able to get them some Disney passes, which upset some while others gave them points for trying to shoot their shot.
