Twitter Users Are Crafting Parody Brand Logos To Make Them More 'VTuber'
KinetiK001, the Counter-Strike player who uploaded the iconic "Door Stuck" video, may soon pull the video from YouTube by setting it to private as a copyright troll has claimed it for themselves and is profiting off it.
In 2007, KinetiK001 posted a clip of himself griefing his Counter-Strike 1.6 teammate jrbsn into getting stuck in a door. Right after 30 seconds of sheer hilarity ensue as jrbsn ("door stuck guy") screams, pleads with KinetiK to let him out and generally goes through five stages of acceptance before both of them ultimately die to the other team.
Over the years, the viral video grew to become a big internet meme, spawning remixes, references and even fan art. Just last week, a Friday Night Funkin' Door Stuck mod was released, and it's been quite well-received.
But two days ago, KinetiK001 uploaded a video in which he revealed that "Door Stuck" was claimed by a copyright troll who was profiting off it. KinetiK001's channel was recently demonetized by YouTube because he uploaded some copyrighted music to it, but even after removing every single video but "Door Stuck," KinetiK wasn't able to get it remonetized.
While KinetiK001 was dealing with YouTube to zero success, a troll swooped in and uploaded a "song," which is basically the "Door Stuck" audio repeating a few times, and then used it to claim monetization from the famous Counter-Strike meme for themselves.
In his video, KinetiK stated that he would rather delete the video altogether than let a troll profit from it. Later, after the announcement was posted in the /r/GlobalOffensive subreddit, KinetiK popped into the comments and said that he will just set it to private instead.
The unfair treatment KinetiK has been getting quickly drew attention from both the Counter-Strike crowd and meme enjoyers in general. On Twitter, the hashtag "#SAVEDOORSTUCK" trended as people voiced their support for the creator.

The news of potentially losing Door Stuck to trolls comes just a couple of days after Roblox's iconic OOF death sound was removed from the game because of a licensing issue.
