Corpse Husband announces his voice acting role in tribe nine via tweet.

Corpse Husband will be putting his trademark deep, guttural voice to new use as the YouTuber, musician and quintessential e-boy has been cast as Ojiro Otori for the English dub of the Tribe Nine anime series.

Corpse Husband himself broke the news on Sunday, announcing his very first role as a voice actor via Twitter. In the clip teasing Corpse's appearance on the show, Ojiro, who is a major antagonist in the series, only says two words: "How insignificant."

Developed by Kazutaka Kodaka, the creator of Danganronpa, Tribe Nine is a multimedia franchise set in dystopian Neo-Tokyo and following groups of youths competing against each other in a more violent version of baseball known as "Extreme Baseball." The franchise started in 2020 with a concept trailer for a video game, with the anime series premiering in Japan in January 2022.

In the Japanese version of the show, Corpse Husband's character Ojiro is voiced by Junichi Suwabe, who is known for his roles as Shota Aizawa in My Hero Academia and Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez in Bleach.

Ojiro Otori will first appear in episode two of the series streaming on Funimation, set to premiere today on February 7th.
