It's recent but it's swift and has taken the internet by storm, this Superstraight, Supergay, Superlesbian thing. Basically transphobic versions of these orientations, i figured /pol/ may have been behind this after i saw it trending on Twitter but it seems they are divided as to what is the origin of this, they either don't know or claim is a psychological operation by transgenders to normalize transexuality, that its bait and such. We need to delve deeper into this.

A guy in /pol/ also mentioned how the aftermath of this could be that the term 'Superstraight' will become the new 'Incel' in as little as a week.

On a different note, while browsing through twitter if ound similarities between this "movement" and the Pedo Pride hoax, with some 'supersexuals' stating they would like to "drop the T" in LGBT and replace it with an S, similar to how an additional P was supposed to be added to LGBTQ+.

Some of these 'supersexuals' also state that their movement is "inclusive not exclusionary" noting how they welcome different 'Super' orientations such as the aforementioned 'Supergays' and 'Superlesbians'.

I would also like to add that i call them transphobic is because while not wanting to date a transgender person is a perfectible reasonable preference to have these people actively dehumanize transexuals and want them to "off themselves".

That's all the updates i've got for now.

I browsed r/SuperStraight for a while and i'm certain that it is satire, posts don't seem to be serious and everyone seems to be parodying actual 'supersexuals', common jokes include:

- Comparing transgenders to incels, stating that transgenders feel entitled to have sex with 'supersexual' people that don't want to

- Use of the 'hecking cute and valid' to refer to 'supersexuals'

- Posts talking about insane physical transformations after coming out as 'supersexual'

It should be noted that satire doesn't always work on Reddit, and bad actors tend to appropriate subreddits like these and twist them into hate machines (many times squeezing antisemitism in there for whatever reason) and finally getting them banned, however, the subreddit is still small and for the time being i don't see a probability that it could happen to them.

I thought i'd share some extra info on this.
Good night everybody, i'll see you tomorrow.

From what I read on Cringetopia, superstraights came to be due to someones opinion that term straight should also include attraction to trans people. Hence super straight which is supposed to mean being attracted only to cis people of opposite sex.
